Beans are best direct-seeded in spring once the soil is warm and after you last frost date.
Sow seeds ~1.5 inches (3.5 cm) deep with ~2-3 inches (7.5 cm) between seeds and rows spaced 18-24 inches (45-60 cm) apart. Keep moist until germination in ~ 5-10 days.
