Broccoli - Purple Peacock Seeds
Start broccoli seeds indoors ~6-8 weeks prior to your last frost date. Can also be direct-seeded ~2 weeks prior to your last frost.
Bury seeds ~1/2 inch (12 mm) deep and cover. Keep moist until germination in ~7-10 days.
Transplant in a sunny location ~2 weeks prior to your last frost date with plants spaced 18-24 inches (45-60 cm) apart.
Using row covers will reduce damage from flea beetles and cabbage moth caterpillars.
