  • Direct-seeding is easiest, sowing 2-3 weeks before your last frost date. Sow seeds 1/2 inch (12 mm) deep and cover. Keep moist until germination.

    Can also be started indoors 6-8 weeks prior to your last frost date. Transplant in a sunny location with plants spaced 12-18 inches (30-45 cm) apart around the time of your last frost date.
