Sea Holly - White Seeds
Start seeds 8-12 weeks prior to your last frost date. Can also direct-seed in early spring or fall.
Cold stratification will improve germination. Place seeds in a moist paper towel in a plastic bag or container and keep in the fridge for 2-4 weeks before seeding.
Press seed onto soil and do not cover, light aids in germination. Keep moist until germination in ~5-90 days. Germination can be erractic with sprouts emerging at different times.
Transplant after the risk of frost has passed in a sunny location with plants spaced 18-24 inches (45-60 cm) apart.
