Martha's Garden Zebra Mallow seeds includes a mix of plants with flowers that are pink with purple stripes, or white with purple stripes. Zebra mallow is a close relative to hollyhocks with shorter plants and smaller flowers, but a longer blooming period. Beloved by hummingbirds and bees alike. Drought and poor soil tolerant and very easy to grow. Zebra mallow can be grown as short-lived perennial in zones 4-9, or as an annual in zones 3 or below. Readily self sows so it will come back year after year. Packet contains ~50 seeds.

Zebra Mallow Mix Seeds
Zebra mallow is best direct-seeded in early spring or late fall. They can also be started indoors 6-8 weeks prior to your last frost date.
Soak seeds overnight before sowing. Press seeds into the soil and cover lightly. Keep moist until germination in ~14-21 days.
Transplant after your last frost date into a sunny location, with plants 1-2 feet (30-60 cm) apart.
