Hinomaru cosmos offer a stunning addition to any garden with their delicate white flowers that have pink rings around cheery yellow centres. The airy foliage of these tall, bushy plants creates a beautiful backdrop for the blooms. These seeds are easy to grow and provide an abundance of flowers throughout the summer months. Makes an excellent cut flower. Packet contains ~35 seeds.

  • For earlier blooms, cosmos can be started indoors about four weeks prior to your last frost date. Can also be direct-seeded after risk of frost has passed.

    Press seeds into soil and cover only lightly. Keep moist until germination in ~3-10 days (may be longer with cooler temperatures).

    Transplant after your last frost date into a sunny location, with plants 8 - 12 inches (20-30 cm) apart. Taller varieties may require support in windy spots.
