Pasque Flower - Violet Pasque Flower Seeds
Pasque flower seeds benefit from cold stratification. For best results, sow seeds outdoors in fall, or cold-stratify seeds indoors for 4–6 weeks before spring sowing.
Sow seeds on the soil surface and lightly press them in, covering very lightly, as light aids germination. Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Germination can be slow and irregular, often taking 20–40 days after the cold period.
After seedlings emerge, transplant carefully to a sunny location with well-drained soil, spacing plants 10–12 inches (25–30 cm) apart. Pasque flowers prefer full sun to light shade and do not like to be disturbed once established. Plants typically flower in their second year and improve with age.
