Start Shasta Daisy seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before your last frost date, or direct-seed them in early spring or fall. Press seeds lightly into the soil and cover, keeping the soil consistently moist until germination, which typically occurs in 10-20 days.
After the last frost, transplant seedlings to a sunny outdoor location, spacing plants 24-36 inches (60-90 cm) apart for optimal growth. Following these steps will help you enjoy tall, cheerful Shasta Daisies that attract pollinators and provide beautiful blooms all summer long.
